Feburary 26th Devils Lake Nd. Ackermans marina presented by Devils lake snowmobile club

Details

Points system will follow Sleds format plus every racer gets one point to start race. 5 lap heats 7 lap finals. Last race in Devils Lake final will be 10 laps. Three race High points champion will receive the following: First place will receive $1,000.00 plus the exclusive Triple Crown ring. Second place will receive $750 and a trophy, third place $500 and a trophy. Prize money and Awards will be presented at Banquet in April 2011.

Race start time is 12:00 noon sharp, except for the Buffalo River Speedway race which will start at 3:00 in the afternoon and finish under the lights.

Formula 340 Extreme decal MUST be placed on the outside left hand and right side of your hood in order to receive year end points fund money. Decals can be mailed to you at your request, or picked up a the first race.

Rules

92 and older standard production Polaris Indy Models (No Indy Lites).

ENGINE: 83 and older 340 Fugi (Polaris L/C) mono-block engine only. Any internal modification except stroke allowed. May bore up to .040” over stock bore. May remove and add heat exchangers, or radiator. Engine motor mount maybe modified to solid mount engine but must mount in OEM location.

IGNITION: Stock OEM for engine, or aftermarket cdi (Kimpex part # 01-405)

CARBURATOR: 38mm round slide, stock bore only.

EXHAUST:Stock OEM single exhaust for engine, Y-pipe a main exhaust pipe must meet OEM specs. May remove muffler but must maintain OEM I.D. Diameter and length for stinger (1.125’’ x 9.00’’).

CLUTCHES: Any stock OEM, no roller secondary, no quick change drive clutches. No titanium springs.

CHASSIS:1992 and older Polaris Indy chassis. No rack steering, OEM single frog style only.Tunnel and bulkhead must be joined together in OEM location, no tipping of bulkhead. Jackshaft, driveshaft and chain case must be in OEM location. No titanium fasteners. Footrests maybe modified or removed. R.H shock tower maybe extended to offset shock.

STEERING:Steering post may be moved forward or back, but not left to right. 10” carbides max length.

FRONT SUSPENSION: Maximum overall width 45". May offset IFS suspension maximum 1” measured from centerline of bulkhead. Radius rods, trailing arms, springs, shocks, sway bar and link may be changed, but must fasten in stock locations on bulkhead/tunnel. Exception: trailing arm mount may move to center line of steering hoop.

REAR SUSPENSION:92 and older Stock Polaris components and Extra 10 only, except wheels, springs, shocks, and limiters. Components may be modified, or relocated.

TRACK: 15” x 121” rubber track minimum lug height .500, no hooker plates .No cutting of lugs. (R tracks allowed)

BRAKES, SKIS, HOOD, BELLY PAN, STEERING, SEAT AND GAS TANK:Any. Must follow all ISR safety guidelines.

DRIVE TRAIN:No aluminum or titanium driveline components. Chain case/jackshaft may be updated with splined shaft and top load brake system.
